It was a long weekend and you know what that means?! Sleep! Just kidding. It means hanging out with my girl friends in a relaxed, easy-going outfit perfect for walking by the river.
I spent the weekend being very social. Far more social than normal. It started off with dog walks... and then glasses shopping with friends, dares to try on fully sequinned dresses, and finally ended with $5 burgers at Local 510.
The weather was iffy – windy and cold one minute, then warm and sunny half an hour later – but I wore a variation of the boyfriend shorts and flowing top all weekend. I thought this white top and perfectly bleached boyfriend shorts would be the perfect outfit for Labour Day, not that I'll stop wearing white after today anyways. Leather sandals were the perfect way finish this outfit off. A good pair will take you anywhere, and these Aldo ones have lasted a surprisingly long time (going on three years now!). I love how simple and clean they are, but still give have the slightest Greek feeling to them. Definitely perfect for a long weekend just full of walking!
