Shorts can be both professional and casual, depending on how you wear them. Slightly longer and cuffed, with a pair of tights for some added modesty (and warmth... mostly warmth) is my preferred way to wear shorts to casual meetings.
I picked up these wool ones form my last trip to Korea for a cute and casual look that can take me from classes to outings with friends, and now they can take me to work as well. Or at least they can the majority of the time.
For work, I like to pair them with my favourite silky top from Lady Dutch. The Celine adds a bit of structure to the relaxed fit of this shirt and is my favourite bag to make an outfit look more polished than it really is. Secrets of never wearing super professional clothes.

ReplyDeleteThanks Michaela!
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura! They're probably one of the few things I still wear on a regular basis from two years ago! My style sure has changed!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mel! They're perfect for the winter!
ReplyDeleteThose are great pair of shorts paired with tights. Shorts will never fly in my office no matter how conservative they are. Love how you paired with the bright cobalt purse.
