Hello winter chinook! I'm taking advantage of the warm weather for the next day or two to get out and about without the need for a jacket. Well, at least no need as long as you aren't outside for more than 10 minutes.
Given that 2015 is a year of change, I've taken upon myself another fashion related challenge. One for the uh.. less financially inclined shall we say? Yes, my December bill came in... and it was err.... three times as much as what I thought I spent. For the record, it wasn't just on new clothes, and most of it was spent on gifts and activities with friends. Okay... a third was spent on myself, but that's not that bad... right?
Either way, I've taken it upon myself to learn how to better budget and manage my finances. So, my challenge (which is related to my last post of reintroducing items in my closet), is to shop my closet. Now, that's not to say I won't buy anything new, a girl's gotta shop you know. And I don't have thigh high boots yet, so yea.. I've given myself a flexible limit to spend on clothes per month. If I overspend one month, well, I'll just have to forgo spending the next. I think it's really important to learn how to budget, and budget well, when you're young. Right now, it's not all that important as I live at home with my parents. However, that's about to change in three to six months, so I've gotta buckle down quick.
Spend in my name lovelies (and if you have any tips, let me know)!
I look super weird here... but I like it. =P |
