The Céline Trapeze in indigo is my perfect bag. I've wanted it since the trapeze first began making the rounds online on fashion blogs and magazines. The shape is modern, structured, and sleek, while the bright blue is colourful, but still versatile and classic (and my favourite colour). I love how it elevates any simple look, especially when added with heels. There is no such thing as normcore when you carry a Céline, that's for sure.
This is my first designer purse, and the first time I've blown so much money at once. It was honestly a bit of an adrenaline rush. Heading to San Francisco, I decided to take a look at the Céline trapezes, but I wasn't really planning on purchasing anything, as the medium trapeze in indigo is really hard to come by, and I didn't think I'd find it. I actually went to four different stores before I was able to find this one in Saks. And you could see the absolute joy on my face as I touched it and tried it on. It's like I was in love, or pregnant – I had that glow! Obviously purses are more important to me than boys, because a boy has never made me feel like this. My friends and parents are definitely making fun of me for this purchase. They've decided that if I die, the purse will contain my ashes and permanently sit on our mantle as my legacy.
The best thing is, I'm not wasting money on trying to find a second best bag that is similar to Céline but not Céline (ie. not as expensive). I can finally let go, and branch out in purse styles and colours (I may or may not have been that obsessed with this purse).
