All In Blue

Hi guys! So... I've begun to notice my closet is a bit inundated with a certain colour. Blue. 

Been trying out a no-makeup look for the summer. Behold my (almost) naked face! 

For me, blue signifies the ocean – cool and refreshing, beautiful, and sometimes stormy. Something about it just makes it my favourite colour, especially in the summer. And with so many versatile shades to choose from, blue truly is the spice of life (for me). Compared to other colours, I've never had a shade of blue look bad on me. At first I thought it had to do with blue being the most neutral of colours, but even then, a true black can make me look washed out, as can the brightest of whites. In other words, blue is my go to coloured neutral, because it never fails.

While it's a bit hot to be wearing jeans outdoors, they're perfect for my air conditioned office (I'm so happy my work is lax enough to let us wear jeans as I hate slacks). Add a pair of comfy flats for going up and down the stairs and running to interviews, a relaxed blouse, and I'm set for a day of hustling (okay, it's rare I need to hustle now that most of the preliminary interviews are done, but just in case!).
