The Beginning

ArmSwag

I've decided to expand my style a bit, as I'm really no good at layering (hence the mass amount of skirts and dresses that I wear, so easy and chic!).For the next few months, I'm going to play around more with pants and layering, especially layering jewelry!

The New Companion

Finally watched the Dr. Who Christmas special during the winter break. I don't know how to feel about the new companion, as I feel it might be too easy to abuse her... uh... ability (*cough, Rory, cough*). However, I am hoping that she's going to have an awesome casual style I can steal for school. While Amy wore a lot of mini skirts, I think we might see Clara in something a bit more flowing and loose. Take a look if you want to see what I think she might wear in the next few episodes. Or maybe it's really just something I'd wear (I'm in love with the tweed cape) with a picture of the Christmas special thrown in for good measure. You'll never know...

Happy New Years everyone (and a late Merry Christmas)! While I should be making resolutions and goals to keep, namely stop procrastinating and start preparing for classes, I am looking at the biggest headlines in fashion this year, and combining everyone into a brief post for you to read. This is what journalism has taught me: aggregating information is a great way (and easy) to procrastinate, and can still be considered as a journalistic endeavor. So, if you wanted to see what I thought were the biggest news stories this year, take a look.

Seeing Red

Source: http://imabeautygeek.com

Getting into the holiday spirit, I've been obsessing over two things. Shiny clothing and red lips. Red lips are a classic, and could be seen sported on the runway and the red carpet this season (as well as though the rest of history).
