Silk and Leather for Valentine's Day

what to wear for valentines, date outfit, all saints, dee dress, j brand, leather pants, valentines outfit, galentines outfit, valentines day inspiration

Happy early Valentine's Day my loves. Or Galentine's Day for us single ladies.
I believe in treating myself well on Valentine's Day, whether I'm sharing it with someone or not. I'll dress comfortably in clothing I adore, but still looks sexy (or at least cute). Personally, this means luxurious fabrics, my go-tos being silk and leather.

I regularly wear my All Saints Dee Dee dress for any special occasion (ballets, grad, Christmas parties – you name it, and this dress has seen it) – it's a serious investment piece and may as well be my little black dress. But when you need a change... well, change the dress into a top. The draping makes the dress easy to pull and twist into an asymmetrical top if you're lazy, or, with some more effort, and more symmetrical tunic. Paired with leather pants, it looks dressy enough to go to a nice dinner with a date, but versatile enough to wear to a trendy lounge or get together with friends.

  1. you look amazing, I love your top xo

  2. Gorgeous outfit

  3. Thanks Laura! I'm happy the dress i so versatile! Nothing beats turning something old into something new.

  4. That is a great piece and I love how you styled it! So edgy but with a touch of femininity!

  5. Great top - I love how you paired it!
