Seattle is probably one of my favorite cities... to eat in. While I mostly focus on the food (seriously, it's so good, I don't even remember to take photos of it - I just dig in), I do like to explore and try a new thing or two each trip. I've been on underground tours, and seen the Space Needle; explored Pike Place Market and visited the original Starbucks (and the much newer Reserve Roastery). Here's some of my must visits when you're only in the city for a day.
The Seattle Art Museum
When I first went to Seattle since moving to Vancouver last year, I randomly stumbled upon the Art Musuem in downtown, thanks to all the advertising for the Yayoi Kasuma exhibit. Needless to say, you can't randomly walk in and expect to be able to see her work - her tickets sell out FAST. This year, I saw this gorgeous ceiling while walking by, and immediately had to check it out. Best part? It's a free exhibit, which means it makes the perfect photo op.

Pike Place
Can't go to Seattle without visiting Pike Place and grabbing a snack.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Honorable mention goes to Brother Joe in Georgetown. Delicious brunch, but a bit out of the way. Georgetown is super cool, and the oldest neighbourhood in Seattle.
