Work has picked up. It's now halfway through the semester in Korea, and everyone has been super busy. There's a lot more work under my new coteacher and with my new schedule (I don't know why as I teach the same number of classes but at different times, and my coteacher doesn't make me do that much extra, but it feels like I have no time at all!).
Either way, the heat is starting to become unbearable, and it's not even "real" summer yet (yes, there's summer, and then there's "real" summer as the Koreans like to tell me). As a result, I've been binge buying all the shoulderless tops. Because I need to stay cool. Jeans are now out of the equation, and I'm trying desperately to fit into my favourite pair of shorts. (Okay, I fit, they're just a bit tighter than usual, and I'm self conscious). No more binge eating nuts I suppose. Or chocopies. Or makgeolli.... Korea whyyyyy????? Seriously though, I feel like summer is killing my budget – there's so many cute clothes, and admittedly, I didn't bring enough summer appropriate work clothes. What's another excuse to spend money. =P
Speaking about makgeolli, I tried mango makgeolli a few weeks ago! It wasn't as good as the strawberry-banana one I usually get, but that can be easily fixed. Time to play around as bartender and make my own mango makgeolli, now that mangos are in season.
