Harajuku Girl

Goocy, harajuku, layered look, korean style, streetstyle, women's fashion, how to layer, asos, all saints, zara, culottes, personal style, japanese fashion

This is a deceptive title, since I wouldn't really call it Harajuku style. But I bought these gorgeous pants in Harajuku... so....

They're my new favourites, and pretty much all I wore in Japan and Taipei. They're super comfortable, and look like a skirt (you know how I love flowing silhouettes). And they layer perfectly with the new Asos vest and All Saints Sweater I bought. This outfit is the epitome of my store obsessions - All Saints (there's a store in the bus terminal in Seoul, which means I'm in a danger zone as soon as I step off my bus), Asos, Zara, and now, Goocy.
While I was wandering around Harajuku, these pants in the Goocy storefront drew eye. I immediately rushed in found them, and cried at the price tag. They weren't actually that expensive, but I was kind of poor in Japan (transportation was shockingly expensive compared to Korea, same with the prices to enter temples, and I didn't research well). We were tired and crabby that day, so I decided to find food first before I tried the pants on. Shopping is easier on a full stomach (especially when the "free size" is on the tighter size - There's nothing worse than buying something "free size" and finding out they fit, but you won't be able to eat in them), nor did my friends really want to wait for me. Anyways, we had some amazing ramen, and I insisted we go back so I could try on these pants. Originally I was looking at a pair in blush, but these camel toned ones caught my eye as well. I tried both on, and the sales woman and I agreed I should buy the camel. The service was impeccable - she brought multiple sweaters and shoes for me to try on with the pants, showed me how it was styled differently on the website, and walked my bag out with me. I can't say enough good things about my experience there. While I won't be able to go back until the summer (as far as I know, there's no more long weekends for me to take a quick Tokyo shopping trip), I may use a shipping service to grab this pair in blush.

Shirt: Asos
Pants: Goocy (similar here if you don't live in Japan)
