Remember how I was saying I wanted a bright orange lipstick here? I finally found the perfect shade from Innisfree. Thanks for all your suggestions!
Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and with that comes pumpkin pie and the beginning of snow. So let's wear dresses shall we? They make it easy to eat those large family meals (and I for one definitely have a weakness for all things sweet) without needing to unbutton anything, and are my favourite way to look polished without really needing to put in any time. Slip it on, and voila, you look great! The baroque pattern on this Asos dress makes it one of my favourites to wear for autumn, as for the last few years baroque and embellished pieces were having their time on the fall/winter runways.
Speaking about runways, I had the chance to volunteer at the Parkluxe fashion show in Calgary. It was quite the experience! I never knew just how much work went in to prepping for the show itself. We were still doing construction a few hours before people started to arrive! While volunteering was fun, I think I'll opt for a media badge next time so that I can bring my camera along and take photos at the front of the runway. I did manage to snap a few on my phone on the sides, so check out my instagram if you want to see some really talented Canadian designers!
